Sara Evans

Sarah Sarah Sara SaraSara Evans had only one goal in life: To perform and compose country music. "God gave me this planet to be a singer," said Evans, according to John Meroney of American Enterprise. That's what I love as well as what I'll do. In addition, Evans wanted to succeed by going back to traditional country songs brought to life by legends like Patsy Cline, Hank Snow, Tammy Wynette, George Jones as well as Patty Loveless, musicians Evans thought of as her most influential influences. The late 1990s were an era when most aspiring country singers turned to modern songs with a pop-radio appeal, Evans made her initial mark through her performances of country tunes that looked to the past as demonstrated by her debut album from 1997, True Lies. True Lies, though it got a positive review and was nominated by the Academy of Country Music for 1998's best new female singer but failed to create an lasting impression. Evans was able to convince her to modify the repertoire for No Place That Far in 1999 by her producers. That gave her the public acknowledgement she'd always had been seeking for years. Sara Evans, born on February 5th in 1971 in Columbia Missouri she is an American singer/songwriter. Sara Evans grew up in the company of six other siblings.
